NATURAL COMBO JOB

Sidewalk & Curb Replacement Long Island

Sidewalk and curb fail together — the same freeze-thaw cycle that breaks the slab also pushes the curb out of line. Replace both in one mobilization, one permit, one pour for bigger savings.

Curb options we install

  • Belgian block curb — classic Long Island look, durable, common in Garden City, Manhasset, Port Washington, the Hamptons.
  • Cast-in-place concrete curb — most economical, standard for new residential and commercial sites.
  • Drop curb / driveway apron — sloped curb at driveway entries; requires town curb-cut permit.
  • Steel-faced curb — heavy-duty industrial frontages with truck traffic.
  • Granite curb — premium HOA and historic-district applications.

Why combo replacement saves money

One mobilization, one ROW permit, one traffic-control setup, one pour day. Cross-sells naturally into driveway apron work — and if you're replacing the sidewalk anyway, removing and resetting the curb at the same time is roughly 30–40% cheaper than doing them in two separate phases.

Long Island curb-cut permits

Any new or relocated driveway apron requires a town curb-cut permit — Town of Hempstead, Oyster Bay, Babylon, Islip and others all have separate applications. Nassau County roads add a Nassau DPW Right-of-Way permit. We pull both.
